After a very overcast start - it rained most of the night - it rained again... and we had thunder at times. I made a Quiche Lorraine, played Snakes and Ladders with Josh, drove to Indoorpilly Mall to buy some light footballs (Josh is only allowed these light ones in the back garden and he keeps puncturing them on the old palm tree fronds) and we filled up with fuel. We saw a wet and bedraggled Pheasant Coucal en route. Only 22C to-day.
I am about to turn up some trousers of Pam's and then an early bed time. Despite the fairly dire forecast, we are going inland to Gatton and the Lockyer Valley in the morning.
